VIRGINIA Seashore, Va. (WAVY) — Greenbrier was not the only Hampton Streets mall strike by jewellery intruders on Wednesday.
Virginia Beach front law enforcement say a jewellery retail store inside Lynnhaven Shopping mall was specific in a “smash and grab” larceny. Chesapeake law enforcement labeled their scenario a “robbery,” but Virginia Seaside police later on clarified they are becoming labeled larcenies because staff weren’t threatened.
A spokesperson for VBPD did not share the identify of the store in a push release, but it transpired at REEDS Jewelers at 1:17 p.m., in hours of the other robbery.
The Greenbrier theft was at SK Diamonds all-around 5:42 p.m. No injuries ended up noted.

Law enforcement have not confirmed the two robberies are linked, but pics from both equally scenes clearly show what look to be the very same footwear just one suspect. In the two instances, two suspects smashed into show circumstances, but did not seem to have weapons other than hammers they employed to split the instances.
